New York is Dead, the independent series I did the music for, has been selected as an official selection of SeriesFest Season 4 Independent Pilot Competition. This is the second pilot I have had go to SeriesFest (my first was It's a Hit which won the "Virgin Produced Choice Award").

A brief Synopsis:
Best friends and artists, Felix and Cathy, have found it impossible to survive in New York City anymore, with its vapid consumerism and a creative ecosystem in dire crisis. They, like most, have been priced out of this city that's lost its artistic spirit. On a particularly hopeless day, Felix and Cathy are presented with the bizarre opportunity to make a small fortune in exchange for killing a stranger. Through a series of silly yet bloody events, Felix and Cathy soon find themselves embarking on a career as the most hapless of hitmen. Each episode of New York Is Dead focuses on different person Felix and Cathy have been hired to kill.

The pilot, directed by Randy Harrison, features Jenn Harris, Matthew Wilkas, Ana Gasteyer, Bebe Neuwirth, & Cole Escola, and the series features Jemima Kirkie, John Early, Maulik Pancholy and Jeff Hiller.
